Coy, who began playing in grade school, now plays professionally for the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. The nice weather and empathy for his neighbors had him out in the park practicing. “The more I can get away the better,” said Coy. “Music cuts right through all the barriers we set up culturally and lets you interact on a deeper level immediately,” he added about what he gets out of his profession. Her husband pastor John Boston crashed the family’s car trying to avoid another motorist swerving over the center line and was pulled from the burning vehicle by a man only known as Johnny.
